These podcasts can be viewed anytime, anywhere, giving you the flexibility to learn on your schedule, not ours! You can view them as many times as you’d like, rewind if something doesn’t make sense, or pause it to try it yourself.

The first five videos focus on basic Moodle functions: General Forums, Uploading Resources, News Forums, Adding a Participant, and Linking to an External Website. Take a look at them and don’t hesitate to let us know what you think. We appreciate your feedback.

For information on transferring materials from one course to another, check out the documentation available online. If you are interested in using Moodle for the first time next fall and would like to set up a new course, documentation is also available online, or send email to moodle@gustavus.edu.

Should faculty, staff, or students need cameras, lights, microphones, or any other equipment offered by media services, they can simply go here and log in with their Gustavus username and password. After reading an agreement, users can check out equipment for which they are approved. To pick up the equipment (between the hours listed on the agreement) students MUST have their Gustavus Identification card. Faculty and staff should bring appropriate identification.

Moodle is an interactive program that allows faculty to upload syllabi and articles online for student use. They can also monitor online class discussions via the forum and issue quizzes, along with other customizable options. Moodle can be accessed at moodle.gac.edu and users can log in with their Gustavus e-mail username and password. Any questions can be directed by e-mailing moodle@gac.edu.
